Created in 2018, through the fusion of the Industrial Federations Group (GFI) and the Cercle de l’Industrie, France Industrie is the professional organization charged to represent and promote the industry in France.

France Industrie gathers the Presidents of 51 private and public major companies operating in all industrial fields, along with 32 sector-based federations.

A DUAL MISSION

Highlighting the fundamental economic role the industry embodies, being the key holder for a strong and sustainable growth: technological advances, production and service activities and therefore employment, environmental protection and international development.

Promoting and supporting all initiatives liable to bolster the industry’s activity and development and to improve its national and European environment.

A NETWORK OF POOLED EXPERTISE

Hundreds of experts working in its member companies and federations enable France Industrie to constantly reflect and take action on issues of importance to the industry: competitiveness, employment, taxation, training, funding, exportation, innovation, environment, energy…

THE POINT OF REFERENCE FOR ALL INDUSTRY-RELATED MATTERS IN FRANCE

A driving source of proposals to the public authorities, parliamentary representation, all economic stakeholders and opinion multipliers aiming to build a policy favorable to industry and job creation.

A close collaboration with State services and social partners within the framework of the National Council of Industry (CNI). The CNI’s Vice President is the President of France Industrie.

A permanent cooperation with the professional federations representing industrial companies. The President of France Industrie has a seat on the Executive Council of the MEDEF.

An informed dialogue with the Education and Research world via the think-tank “La Fabrique de l’Industrie”, co-founded in 2011 by the UIMM, the Cercle de l’Industrie and the Industrial Federations Group (GFI), and presided by Louis Gallois and Pierre-André de Chalendar.
